Hawthorn focus group talks about superintendent

Another focus group has been added to the superintendent search schedule in Hawthorn Elementary District 73.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the group meeting at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Hawthorn District office, 841 West End Court, Vernon Hills.

An RSVP is not required. The group is expected to last about 45 minutes to an hour. The board is working with the consulting firm School Exec Connect to find a replacement for Sue Zook, who will retire June 30, 2012. An online survey to provide feedback regarding the search is available until Oct. 10 at www.hawthorn73.org.
