Palatine Park Foundation hosts fundraiser
The Palatine Park Foundation will host its Casual Cocktail Fundraiser II from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17 at Heng Wing Restaurant, 121 W. Palatine Road, Palatine. The event will benefit the foundation, which provides program scholarship opportunities to residents with financial limitations, helps preserve open space initiatives and supports physical accessibility projects. Tickets cost $50 and include two drinks and appetizers. To purchase tickets, contact Foundation President Carl Arthur at tfeid@palatineparks.org or (847) 910-2944. They’re also available at the door.
