St. Alphonsus Parish camps out

Over 150 St. Alphonsus parishoners took part in an overnight campout in the field behind the school in Prospect Heights.

Some of the events included a water balloon launch contest, kickball game, scavenger hunt, star gazing with telescopes, s'mores by the campfire and an outdoor movie.

The athletic department served up hamburgers and hotdogs while the Cub Scouts had a pancake breakfast the following morning.

The weather cooperated to make a perfect evening for the event.
