Eagerly awaiting November, 2012

How exciting. President Obama wants to add another half trillion dollars to the national debt, with his new jobs bill. The one designed to save his job. Also the one he told Congress 17 times to “pass this bill now,” and also the same bill that was so exciting that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid hasn’t even put it on the docket yet to be voted on.

When asked why, he said, “There were more important things right now.” Of the last nearly a trillion dollar stimulus jammed through Congress, much of it is hard to account for. We do know that three “green energy” solar plants have gone belly up, the most recent being the scandal-ridden Solyndra plant, which received a half billion of taxpayer dollars, all of which is gone.

The best accounting available shows that we have given $38.6 billion to solar energy, generating about 3,800 jobs or about $10 billion per job. When, oh when, will this foolishness stop?

Fortunately, the voters are seeing through this “Progressive Party (liberal)” program, and every time they get a chance they are voting against it, including the 9th district in New York which, until now, hasn’t voted Republican in nearly a 100 years. November 2012 can’t come soon enough.
