Woodridge hosts town meeting, open house Oct. 6

Join your neighbors on Thursday, October 6, for a Town Meeting with a twist!

Families and individuals are invited to visit at an Open House that will feature table exhibits on various public services like Police, Fire, Public Works, Schools, Parks, Community Development, Finance, Library, and more.

The event will be held at Bobak's Signature Events in Seven Bridges. Interactive displays and programs will make this a can't-miss event. Light appetizers will be provided and kids' activity tables will be available. Come at your convenience between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

At 7 p.m. Mayor Murphy will introduce the 2011 Community Recognition Award recipients and share a brief update on what is happening in Woodridge. Participants will have plenty of time to have their questions answered and learn more about what is on the horizon for Woodridge. Afterwards, if you missed the open house you'll have another opportunity to visit the displays.

Come to the open house, come to the Mayor's presentation, or come to both. Families are welcome and the program is free of charge.

To give us an idea of how many people to expect, please e-mail phalik@vil.woodridge.il.us with the number of attendees in your group and which events you plan to attend or call (630) 719-2903.

RSVPs are appreciated, but not required.
