Sources: Urlacher back at Halas Hall with Bears

Team sources have confirmed that Brian Urlacher is back at Halas Hall today after leaving the team on Tuesday to be with his family in Texas following the death of his mother, 51-year-old Lavoyda Lenard, on Monday night.

Urlacher is expected to play Sunday in New Orleans against the Saints, but it is not clear how much participation he will have in practices the remainder of this week.

For his efforts in the season opener, Urlacher was named NFC defensive player of the week after making 10 tackles, intercepting a pass and returning a fumble for a touchdown.
