Advocate Condell Medical Center announces new physicians

Oak Brook-based Advocate Medical Group has announced the addition of board-certified internal medicine physicians Jennifer DeBruler, M.D,; Roger Hecker, M.D.; and Rani Sharma, M.D.; to its growing number of physicians. The doctors are practicing at the Advocate Medical Group office at 550 N. Lake Street in Mundelein.

“Drs. DeBruler, Hecker and Sharma are an asset to our organization,” said AMG president James R. Dan, MD, FACP. “They have an established reputation for excellence across Advocate. I am pleased to welcome them to AMG, where their enthusiasm for superior health outcomes and holistic care will have an impact on our patients' lives.”

Dr. DeBruler is on the medical staff at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where she serves as a member of the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Since 2005, DeBruler has contributed to hospital committees that focus on patient safety and the acute care center. DeBruler attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

A biochemistry major with distinction from the University of Illinois, Urbana, Dr. Hecker earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He then completed both an internal medicine internship and an internal medicine residency at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge, La. In addition to chairing the EMR task force and technology committee at the Baton Rouge Clinic, Dr. Hecker has also served as the senior aviation medical examiner, providing FAA physicals.

Dr. Sharma attended medical school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She completed a residency and internship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
