The Streamwood Fire Department will host an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Fire Station 2, 900 W. Irving Park Road, next to Hoosier Grove Park.

There will be displays and activities for both adults and children. Learn about fire safety, spray a fire hose or watch a puppet show.
