Glendale Heights cops probe attempted child abduction
Glendale Heights police are trying to find a man suspected of an attempted child abduction near Reskin Park.
Authorities said a passenger in a gold-colored, four-door vehicle in “beater condition” tried to lure a 12-year-old into the car around 7 p.m. Sunday at the park’s north end near Fullerton Avenue.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 30 and 40 years old, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, and heavy set.
The man was last seen wearing a gray tank top, khaki shorts and sandals. Anyone with information is asked to call (630) 909-5452.
