Visually impaired Schaumburg resident receives scholarship from Blind Service Association

Schaumburg resident Rose Sloan is awarded a scholarship by Blind Service Association's (BSA) President, Prof. Ann Lousin at BSA's recent Annual Meeting. Sloan, who is visually impaired, is a pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Education. BSA, at 17 N. State Street in Chicago is a non-profit organization that helps people who are blind and visually impaired achieve their personal and professional goals through one-on-one reading, support groups, low vision consultations, referral services and a scholarship program.
