D-54 students perform at Septemberfest

Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 will highlight its fine arts program with several student musical performances on the Daily Herald Stage at Schaumburg’s Septemberfest celebration throughout Labor Day weekend.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, the Combined Eighth-Grade Orchestra will perform at 2:30 p.m.; the Keller Junior High School Eighth-Grade Band at 3:15 p.m.; and the Mead Junior High School Eighth-Grade Band at 4 p.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 4, the Addams Junior High School Eighth-Grade Band will perform at 1:30 p.m. and the Frost Junior High-School Eighth-Grade Band at 2:30 p.m.

On Monday, Sept. 5, Dooley School’s Early Instrumental Music students will perform at 2:30 p.m. Also, the district’s Board of Education and Special Olympics team will participate in the Septemberfest parade, which starts at 10 a.m. Sept. 5 at Hartford Drive and moves north on Summit Drive to Stockport Lane.
