Sign language classes
The John Powers Center for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing will offer sign language classes for all interested individuals. Two levels will be offered: Sign Class 1 and Sign Class 2. Classes will begin Sept. 21 and end Nov. 9. Class times are 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. The fee is $50 for the eight-week session.
