Boat safety class offered
Oakbrook Terrace Park District is taking registrations up to Sept. 6 for a boating course that will be taught by Chicago Sail and Power Squadron from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 15 to Oct. 20, at the park district.
The course is for ages 12 and older. Students who pass the exam will be issued a safety certificate. The cost is $7 for park district residents and $10 for nonresidents. For details, contact (630) 627-6100 or (630) 279-0639.
