Will Kensington get repairs it needs?
I am writing today with a statement and a question for Mount Prospect city hall and Mount Prospect public works.
I read last March that they were going to improve Kensington Road from Prospect High School east to Elmhurst Road. As usual, nothing yet has been done.
It is like a cow path with unimproved, potholed shoulders made of gravel, etc. There are no left turn lanes like there are in Arlington Heights, and along with poor lighting, it can be dangerous after dark.
There is plenty of room to widen it to four lanes, especially if they cover the open water ditches that breed mosquitoes. This isn’t the Wild West after all, it’s Mount Prospect. It’s already mid-August and time is running out for another year!
