Fall from ladder kills Addison woman

An Addison woman fell from a ladder and died early Sunday morning while trying to access the roof of a Chicago building, authorities said.
Patrycja Wiszkowska, 22, was attending a party in the 4300 block of North Sheridan Road before her fall. She began climbing a ladder from the building’s third floor about 4:55 a.m. and fell roughly three stories to her death, Chicago Police spokesman Officer Robert Perez said.
Wiszkowska was pronounced dead when emergency responders arrived and taken to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, Perez said.
The medical examiner’s office confirmed a fall from a ladder is being ruled as Wiszkowska’s preliminary cause of death.
