Roselle, Itasca part of traffic crackdown

The Roselle and Itasca police departments, among others statewide, will step up late-night traffic enforcement starting Friday. Itasca’s efforts run through Sept. 15, while Roselle’s end after Labor Day. The effort is funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Division of Traffic Safety and runs concurrently with a media campaign to remind motorists to drive sober.
