Raise tax on hedge fund managers?

Greed is killing America. Greed is sucking the money from the middle class into the coffers of the super rich. Hedge fund managers, unsatisfied with their billions of dollars, want more. They bet against our institutions and use part of their winnings to corrupt politicians, misinform the public, and destroy our government.

Like cancer, there is no cure for greed but there is a treatment. It is called taxation. If we restore progressive taxation and if we place a tax on Wall Street transactions we can contain the greed.

However, this simple solution has been rendered impossible by the Greedy Old Party. The GOP would rather have the country default than raise the tax (currently 15 percent on “carried assets”) on hedge fund managers and other billionaires.
