Schaumburg intersection closing Wednesday

Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 3, the intersection of Weathersfield Way and Braintree Drive will be closed to begin roadway improvements.

The closure limits on Weathersfield will be from 200 feet west of Braintree to just west of Chestnut Court, and on Braintree from approximately 300 feet north of Weathersfield to approximately 200 feet north of Falmouth Lane. This closure is expected to last three weeks, weather permitting.

A detour route will be in place before the closure. This closure is required to complete pavement patching, the reconstruction of Weathersfield Way, concrete improvements and grading work.
