Mt. Prospect Corporate Challenge is Aug. 4

Registration closes Tuesday, Aug. 2, for the third annual Mount Prospect Corporate Challenge 5K Run and Fitness Walk, which starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in the Kensington Business Park, 1401 Feehanville Drive, Mount Prospect.

Team of five people each can run to try to win the traveling trophy.

The event is sponsored by the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce and proceeds will go toward our annual programs fund. Last year over 356 runners participated in this event.

The Corporate Challenge is a great team event for businesses, designed to build teamwork and promote fitness and wellness. This is also a wonderful way to boost company spirit and a fun way for employees to interact outside the office. We are inviting Mount Prospect businesses to participate in this fun wellness event by encouraging their employees to form teams to run or walk, and also to support it financially by partnering in the sponsorship of this event.

The event will feature a Health & Fitness Expo from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Health and Fitness Expo is free and open to the public and features dozens of vendors, professional services and other health and fitness information. Runners will walk through this area to get their packets.
