Mt. Prospect conducts flood damage assessment

The Cook County Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Management is requesting assistance from the Village of Mount Prospect in providing the Illinois Emergency Management Agency with an estimate of uninsured damage within Cook County from the severe storms that occurred on Saturday, July 23.

This information is required by the State and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in order to make a determination if the county and the Village of Mount Prospect (and residents or businesses within the Village who sustained uninsured damage) are eligible for any potential Federal Disaster reimbursements.

This questionnaire is for initial information gathering purposes only.

No federal disaster declaration has been made at this time.

If a federal disaster declaration is made, you will have to submit your information directly to FEMA.

We must submit this information to Cook County by Friday, July 29, so a timely response is appreciated.

A link to the questionnaire can be found on the Village's web site, mountprospect.org. The survey can be completed and submitted online.

If you do not have internet access, access is available at the Mount Prospect Public Library, 10 S. Emerson Street and paper copies will also be available there. Please go to the registration desk for assistance. Library hours are: Monday–Friday: 9a.m.–10p.m.
