Judge swears in advocate volunteers

Kane County Judge Clint Hull recently presided over the swearing in of nine new Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers.

These individuals completed a 40-hour training program in order to be sworn in to represent the best interests of children whose cases are in Abuse & Neglect Court. If you would like to become an advocate for children, call the CASA Kane County office at (630) 232-4484 or visit casakanecounty.org to view a schedule of upcoming general information meetings.

Training will begin again in September. CASA Kane County is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and manages community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children.
