I-90 stalled after rollover accident near Schaumburg
Two eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 near Schaumburg were shut down during rush hour today after a two-vehicle crash involving a rollover, according to police.
All occupants of the rolled-over vehicle were out of the car by the time emergency crews arrived at the scene in the eastbound lanes just west of Route 53, Illinois States Police Sgt. Julio Serrano said.
The left and middle lanes of the toll road were shut down after the crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. as emergency crews worked to upright a GMC Envoy and clear the SUV involved from the roadway, Serrano said.
Traffic was able to pass in the right lane as crews took about an hour to clear the crash.
Everyone involved in the crash refused transport for minor injuries, according to police.
