Hospital CEO leaving
After 12 years as chief executive of Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights, Brinsley Lewis is leaving to fill a similar role at a hospital in Florida. Lewis will become president/CEO of the University Community Hospital-Carrollwood in Tampa, Fla., starting Aug. 1. A farewell celebration for Lewis is scheduled from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at GlenOaks, located at 701 Winthrop Ave. in Glendale Heights. Local mayors and community leaders are expected to attend. Lewis came to GlenOaks from Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
