Veterans official speaks in Streamwood
Dan Grant, the director of Illinois Veterans’ Affairs, will speak to VFW Post 5151 in Streamwood at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at 520 S. Bartlett Road. He will discuss programs and benefits for Illinois’ veterans. “All area veterans and their family members are invited to this open meeting with the director of Illinois Veteran’s Affairs,” said State Rep. Fred Crespo, a Hoffman Estates Democrat who facilitated the meeting. “The director will be available to answer questions about veterans’ issues, including veterans’ homes, programs and benefits for veterans and their family.” For information or to be on Crespo’s Veterans Advisory Committee, call (630) 372-3340.
