'Modern Millie' cast to perform at Mt. Prospect shop
The cast of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” will be featured at Cappanari Ice Cream from 7-10 p.m. Thursday, July 14, to promote the King's Players upcoming show.
Cast members will be performing musical pieces from the show from 7-8:30 p.m., and a video of The King's Player's 10th anniversary show will be shown starting at 8:30 p.m. Cappanari's will be serving a “Thoroughly Modern Millie” ice cream flavor that is specially created for the show. Cappanari Ice Cream is located at 10 S. Pine Street in Mount Prospect.
The King's Players will present “Thoroughly Modern Millie” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 and at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24. All performances are open to the public and will be at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.
Tickets are available at the box office by calling (847) 718-7702 (Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.
The King's Players are a nonprofit theater group for students ages 11-19 sponsored by Saint Mark Community Lutheran Church in Partnership with School District 214 Community Education.
