VNA Health Centers offer sports physicals

VNA Health Centers are now accepting appointments for school and sports physicals for the fall school year. Cost for the physicals is $25 and includes all immunizations.

VNA Health Center at 400 N. Highland Ave. in Aurora is offering special appointment times for school and sports physicals from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays, July 14, 21, and 28.

Appointments are available on other days in addition to these special times. Students entering Cowherd, Simmons, Waldo or East Aurora High School are encouraged to make an appointment at VNA’s Tomcat Health Center, located within East Aurora High School.

VNA Health Center at 620 Wing St. in Elgin is also accepting appointments for school and sport physicals.

School physicals are required for all students entering kindergarten, sixth and ninth grades. Any student participating in a school-sponsored sport must have a sports physical.

Parents are required to be present and should bring a copy of the child’s immunization record. Physicals are $25 and all required immunizations are included. Medicaid patients should bring a copy of their card and must have selected VNA Health Center as their Primary Care Provider.
