Driver cited in Vernon Hills pileup

Police have cited the driver of the rear vehicle in a seven-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon near Route 60 and Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills.
The pileup resulted in only minor injuries.
The driver was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Police would not release the name of the driver.
