Winfield police charge man for pistol
A 22-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested early Sunday morning in Winfield after police said he was carrying a black, semiautomatic pistol in his waistband.
Patrick K. Houlihan, of New London, Wis., was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and was released after he posted $150 cash. His court date is still pending, Winfield police said.
At 12:04 a.m., a Winfield police officer on duty spotted Houlihan arguing with an unidentified man outside of Caliendo's Restaurant, 0S050 Winfield Road. The second man had grabbed Houlihan's arm and when the officer approached, the man told the officer Houlihan had a gun.
