Eugenics alive and well in America
In-depth research for the article on forced sterilization neglects to mention that one of the founding persons and leader of the American Eugenics movement in the early 1900s was Margaret Sanger, founder of
Planned Parenthood. Ms. Sanger wrote extensively on the subject and her solution for what she called the “Negro problem.”
This same woman is today revered by the feminist movement, because of her promotion of abortion. Hillary Clinton even proudly accepted several years ago the Margaret Sanger Women of the Year award, given by Planned Parenthood.
Today, black women experience the highest average of abortions among any ethnic group, with 40 percent of all black pregnancies ending in abortion. I guess Ms. Sanger’s legacy is accomplishing her stated goal.
