Mt. Prospect OKs bathroom work

The Mount Prospect Village Board has approved spending $64,988 to remodel the men’s washroom at the Police and Fire Headquarters building. According to village documents, the men’s washroom has been used continually, 24 hours per day, seven days per week since the building was completed in 1994. After constant use, the significant wear calls for significant remodeling, documents said. The project will include new showers, glass shower doors, ceramic floor and wall tile, urinals, toilets, automatic flush valves, automatic faucets and a cultured marble shower wall.
