Priest, state provide lesson on gambling

A recent edition tells of the priest of St. Walter Catholic Church in Roselle absconding with $400,000 of his parish funds and gambing it away. More that $25,000 one day at an Elgin casino. We also read of the General Assembly seeking to meet obligations by expanding gambling. Government, like those governed, cannot perpetually spend more than it has.
