Economic development discussion

Another joint meeting of Wauconda’s economic development and building and zoning committees will be held Tuesday concerning the village’s incentive for downtown economic development. The meeting follows a June 7 meeting, where officials discussed more general funding resources and development ideas. Village board members plan to review the village’s comprehensive strategic plan and discuss potential economic initiatives. Residents are welcome to attend and provide feedback. The meeting is set for 5 p.m. in the Village Hall Board room, at 101 N. Main St.
