Schaumburg considers money for Money

Schaumburg officials Monday will consider a contract for musician Eddie Money to perform at this year’s Septemberfest. The annual Labor Day weekend festival will run from Sept. 3 to 5 this year, but it remains unknown which evening and for what amount Money will perform. The village’s Finance, Legal and General Government Committee’s recommendation on Monday will be considered by the village board for a final vote on June 28. No other main stage musical acts have yet been announced for this year’s Septemberfest.
