Algonquin/Lake in the Hills chamber to host Cruise Nights

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce is ready to “rev” up the community with a monthly summer cruise night that will offer family fun activities while visiting with the car enthusiasts.

Included in the evening activities will be area businesses showcasing their services and products.

The first Cruise Night will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Oakridge Shopping Center in Algonquin, in the parking area across from Sonic Drive-In, 1090 S. Randall Road in Algonquin.

“We are excited to begin the summer with this event” said JD Wagner from Cherne Chiropractic, co-chair of this year’s Summer Cruise Night.

“We’ll have plenty of cars for the car enthusiasts to enjoy, along with our Featured Sponsor Law Office of Andrew Szocka and the 12-plus business members displaying their products offering a variety of activities to enjoy. This is sure to be a great evening for everyone.”

Sponsorships are still available for chamber members interested in showcasing their business.

The chamber also wants to help the local food pantry by asking visitors and attendees to bring a nonperishable food item. As a “thank you,” you will receive a coupon for a free ice cold treat from Sonic Drive-In.
