Dist. 15 and Classroom Teachers' Council Update

The Board of Education and the Classroom Teachers' Council have recently held meetings in an effort to address the financial condition of the District. Both parties acknowledge that each made genuine and meaningful proposals. However, the parties were unable to reach an agreement at this time. The Board of Education and the Classroom Teachers' Council have an existing agreement through the end of the 2011-2012 school year. The parties both hope to continue to build a positive working relationship as they look ahead to future negotiations.
