District 15 board to discuss labor issues

The Palatine Township Elementary District 15 board will hold a special meeting at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss collective negotiating matters or salary schedules for an employee group, according to the agenda. The meeting will take place behind closed doors in executive session at the Joseph M. Kiszka Educational Service Center, 580 N. 1st Bank Drive, Palatine. The board won’t take any official action and board President Tim Millar declined to disclose the meeting specifics. The special board meeting follows plans for board representatives to meet with the teachers union about reopening its three-year contract.
