Water main break slows Streamwood traffic

A water main break in Streamwood slowed traffic on South Park Boulevard as crews worked to fix the problem early Monday.

Bartlett police officers assisted Streamwood just after 6 a.m., ultimately shutting down the southbound lane of South Park Boulevard between Roma Jean Parkway and Lake Street.

The northbound lane was open, officials said, while traffic heading south was diverted along Roma Jean Parkway.
