Rival sandwishes
Your next lunch at Panera Bread could help grant the wishes of two ailing suburban youths. Panera has teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois for its “Crosstown Wish” promotion to help Cubs fan Michael Jenig, a 13-year-old from Streamwood born with a heart condition, and Sox supporter and Bolingbrook resident Daniel Cavazos, 5, who has leukemia. Through Monday, June 20, proceeds from the purchase of the Northside Bacon Turkey Bravo and the Southside Sierra Turkey will help send the boys to Walt Disney World.
