Mundelein fishing derby set

Mundelein will host its annual Cops N’ Bobbers fishing derby on Saturday, July 9. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Maurice Noll Park, which is at the corner of Hampton and Huntington drives. It’s for kids ages 5 to 13, and adults must accompany all participants. The event is free. Kids should bring their own fishing poles and picnic lunches.
