Gospels unprovable; it’s all about faith

About the Biblical Gospels, Kraft needs to consult his spiritual adviser. If he/she is knowledgeable and honest they will tell him that the names on them notwithstanding, none of them were written by anyone who ever saw Jesus in the flesh much less by any of the 12 disciples.

Even Bible scholars, who believe every word of the Bible is truly the word of God, acknowledge that the Biblical Gospels were written at least 40, and possibly several more, years after the crucifixion when it is unlikely any of the disciples were alive.

By then the letters of Paul were in circulation and may have influenced the words the writers put in Jesus’ mouth.

Don Mast was correct, you are free to believe what you will, but even honest and knowledgeable fanatics admit, we have no eyewitness accounts and the accuracy of Gospel details are a matter of faith, not something we can prove.
