Teen gets supervision for damaging Mount Prospect lawns

A Des Plaines teen admitted damaging the lawns of Mount Prospect homeowners during an early morning incident that occurred in January.
In exchange for his guilty plea to misdemeanor reckless driving, 19-year-old Brian J. Essenberg was sentenced to 18 months supervision and 15 days of community service. The judge also fined Essenberg $365 and ordered him to pay restitution. Police say Essenberg drove his Dodge Grand Caravan over more than two dozen lawns on Boulder Drive, Apache Lane, Sioux Lane, Hopi Lane, Burning Bush Lane and Bittersweet Lane.
