SHS students rehab homes
Students in some Stevenson High School sociology classes have been working during the school year with the Spring of Life Partnership to rehabilitate homes in Elgin. Spring of Life Partnership comprises nine churches from Palatine, Arlington Heights and Hoffman Estates, and it works with its affiliate, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley, to fix up homes. The teens’ most recent effort was the rehabilitation of a 95-year-old cottage, a project that was completed earlier this month.
