Stevenson High engineers win prizes
A team of Stevenson High School freshmen and sophomores placed first in the state in their division and third in the nation overall in the annual TEAMS engineering competition sponsored by the Junior Engineering Technical Society, school officials announced this week. TEAMS is a rigorous written exam given across the country. Working together in teams of eight, students solved a set of engineering challenges. The third-place team consisted of Tina Ding, Justin Doong, Sai Nimmagadda, David Wang, David Whisler, Ellen Zhou and Rohan Dasika.
