Meet West Aurora’s new football coach

A new era of West Aurora Football will kick off with a mini-combine and the introduction of new head football coach Nate Eimer at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in the West Aurora High School auditorium, 1201 W. New York St., Aurora.

Any player who plans on attending a West Aurora summer football camp, including elementary and middle school levels, is invited. Parental attendance is encouraged.

Attendees will meet the West Aurora coaching staff. After this, athletes will compete in a mini-combine in the Blue Field House.

Any athlete who is signed up for any Blackhawk summer camp, including junior camps, is eligible to participate. To RSVP, contact Coach Eimer at neimer@sd129.org.

The mini combine will include: bench press maximum repetitions, junior Blackhawks will perform push-ups; 40-yard dash, time, and pro-agility drill and time. Each athlete will receive results at the end of the night.
