Waterboarding/Nazi comparisons idiotic

I am writing in response to a recent letter from David Werdegar regarding waterboarding. To equate this technique to those used by the Nazis, Saddam Hussein, etc. is idiotic moral equivalency in the extreme.

And to suggest that if only we did not water board Islamic terrorists they would not torture their captives is incredibly naive. Tell that to the families of Daniel Pearl and Nick Berg.

Go online and view what those animals do to their prisoners. I also have a question for Mr. Werdegar. If the U.S. had a terrorist in custody with detailed information about an imminent nuclear attack on a US city would you permit waterboarding to obtain information necessary to prevent the attack? If not, I would love to see you explain yourself to the victims.
