Crystal Lake volunteers join Girl Scout government
Two Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) volunteers from Crystal Lake were elected to important governing positions during the organization's annual meeting on April 16. Jean Marie Saidler was installed as a member of GSNI's Board of Directors, and Mary Chris Arnesen accepted a position as National Council Delegate Alternate.

Jean Marie Saidler, GSNI Director-at-Large, is the President at JMS Consultations, Inc., a marketing and advertising company. Her community affiliations include Official Rotary International Group, Paul Harris Fellow and Public Relations Professionals.

Mary Chris Arnesen is employed as the Director of Trade and Customer Compliance for Schneider Electric. Her community affiliations include Boy Scouts and St. Thomas the Apostle. She has held various positions in Girl Scouts including troop leader, Service Unit Manager, National Council Delegate, and Strategic Learning Strategy Team member.
