LaSalle-Peru 4, Huntley 1: Meagan Flynn drove in Huntley’s only run in the opening game of the Freeport quad. Taylor Larson was the Red Raiders’ losing pitcher.

Rochelle 5, Huntley 4: Brittany Koss was 2-for-3 and Tara Lycos had 2 RBI for Huntley. Taylor Larson was again the losing pitcher.

Huntley 10, Freeport 3: Kelsey Hagan (2-for-3, 2B, HR, 2 RBI), Nikki DeMarco (3-for-4, 2B, 2 RBI) and Meagan Flynn (2-for-4, RBI) led Huntley (16-18). Ashley Laxner was the winning pitcher.

Schaumburg 8, South Elgin 0: The Storm managed just 2 hits in losing the first game of their own triangular tournament. Sam Bolin suffered the loss.

South Elgin 4, Boylan 3: Sara Irving drove in Victoria Watt with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning for the Storm (20-14). Kara Rodriguez was 3-for-6 with an RBI, Alyssa Buddle went 3-for-7 and Shannon Conway had a double for the Storm. Sam Bolin (15-11) was the winning pitcher.
