Backpack Buddies Club seeks donors for Elgin, Hanover Township families
The Backpack Buddies Club, which was started 10 years ago by two families eager to support less fortunate children in the community, is again seeking school supplies and financial donations. The not-for-profit organization’s work benefits families that use the Hanover Township Food Pantry and Elgin Community Crisis Center. For its anniversary, the Backpack Buddies Club hopes to deliver 1,000 backpacks filled with supplies before school starts again in the fall.
