Community pride shines in Addison Parks
The Addison Park District would like to thank each of the 450 volunteers who gathered at Community Park to share their “Park Pride” during the annual event on Saturday, May 7.
Volunteers spent the morning cleaning up several neighborhood parks, planting flowers and spreading mulch to prepare the grounds for the summer season. All volunteers were given a T-shirt and invited to a complimentary cookout in Community Park after the event.
Volunteer gardeners are invited to save-the-date for a fall bulb-planting event in the parks. This event will be structured similarly to the annual Park Pride spring event.
