Where to see Haley Reinhart

Haley Reinhart’s plans for “her” day back home on Saturday actually start tonight, with an appearance on the 9 p.m. Fox-TV local news.

According to Fox officials, the star of this season’s “American Idol” will begin her hometown visit by being live inside the Fox studios tonight for a brief interview.

Then, it’s off to ... home? a party?

Here’s hoping she gets at least some sleep, because her Saturday will start early. At 8:45 a.m. she’ll make her first appearance of the day at the AT&T store in Deer Park, 21690 W. Long Grove Road. The store says she’ll be there to thank her fans, and maybe take a question or two.

At 4:30 p.m. Reinhart will have a motorcade through Wheeling, along Dundee Road from Northgate Parkway to the Wheeling Village Hall, where she’ll be welcome by Mayor Judy Abruscato and other village officials, who will proclaim Saturday to be Haley Reinhart Day in Wheeling.

Then, it’s off to Arlington Park racetrack, for a concert that is expected to start about 6:30 p.m. All the free tickets are gone, but paid tickets for racing are still available, and those ticketholders can stay for the concert.
